Kipp has been a pastor for about thirty years, serving as senior pastor or executive pastor in congregations from 30 to 3,000 members. He is a co-founder of The Life of Purpose. His love of Scripture focuses more on original language, as well as cultural history. He has been married to Stephanie for twenty-nine years and they have three sons. He enjoys traveling, theatre, kayaking, biking, and spy novels. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion (minors in New Testament Greek and Philosophy) from Trevecca Nazarene University, Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and his Doctor of Ministry degree from The School of Theology, The University of the South, Sewanee in Sewanee, TN. Kipp authored the book “The Mysterious Pathways of Joy” available on Amazon. He is currently the Executive Pastor and principle preacher in the Contemporary Worship Service at Vestavia Hills UMC, near Birmingham, AL (USA).
