Bill Brunson

Bill has been a pastor for about thirty years, serving congregations from 100 to 3,000 members, as well as serving as a District Superintendent. He is a co-founder of The Life of Purpose. He has a great love of Scripture and the cultural history behind it. He has been married to Michelle for twenty years, and they have three children together. Bill enjoys all things Disney, knowing the history of almost every park and production. Educationally, he earned his Master of Divinity degree at Candler School of the Theology, at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and his Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. He is the author of the book, “Help and Hope: Devotions for a Caregiver by a Caregiver” available on Amazon. He is currently Senior Pastor at Vestavia Hills Methodist Church, near Birmingham, AL (USA).

Kipp McClurg

Kipp has been a pastor for about thirty years, serving as senior pastor or executive pastor in congregations from 30 to 3,000 members. He is a co-founder of The Life of Purpose. His love of Scripture focuses more on original language, as well as cultural history. He has been married to Stephanie for twenty-nine years and they have three sons. He enjoys traveling, theatre, kayaking, biking, and spy novels. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion (minors in New Testament Greek and Philosophy) from Trevecca Nazarene University, Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and his Doctor of Ministry degree from The School of Theology, The University of the South, Sewanee in Sewanee, TN. Kipp authored the book “The Mysterious Pathways of Joy” available on Amazon. He is currently the Executive Pastor and principle preacher in the Contemporary Worship Service at Vestavia Hills UMC, near Birmingham, AL (USA).

 

Sherry Harris

Sherry Harris has served as senior and associate pastor at both small and large churches. Her storytelling has allowed her a preaching style all her own. She loves to dig deep into the stories of scripture, finding the nuances. She and her friend Sherill Clontz have collaborated on several series. She earned her Master of Divinity of the Divinity School at Vanderbilt University. She is “partially” retired, but serves on staff at Vestavia Hills Methodist Church near Birmingham, AL (USA). Her title is “Pastor in Residence” which she insists means, “She who must be obeyed.”

Nash Osborne

Nash Osborne loves to lead contemporary worship and also films, edits, and provides graphics for all of our videos. He also leads the worship band Of Lions and Men.
